Drive to the top of Townsend Road and experience the spectacular views over Brisbane and Deception Bay. On your way stop off at Ocean View Estates Winery & Restaurant for a lovely lunch or morning tea. Alternatively work up an appetite with a walk through the Mt Mee State Forest, lunch at Birches Restaurant, Mt Mee and afterward, drive a little further to the Mt Mee Lookout and experience the breathtaking views of the Glass House Mountains and Redcliffe.
Visit the Dayboro Shed Antiques, Hay Cottage Arts and Crafts, the Dayboro Historical Museum, the Lyell Deer Farm at Mt Samson or North Pine Country Park at Petrie or the Mt Mee Markets (open first Sunday each month). Lunch or dine at any of the venues Dayboro has to offer such as Montys, Amore, The Dayboro Hotel, the Dayboro Bowls Club, Ocean View Estates Restaurant & Winery or Birches at Mt Mee, who all offer a delectable array of fine foods to suit the most discerning palate.
Also, the quaint township of Woodford, only a 20 minute drive away, boasts fashionable boutiques, gift shops, antique shops, restaurants, cafes and hotel.
